Seven of Swords
A man tiptoes away from a camp of bright tents, five swords bundled awkwardly in his arms and a backward glance over his shoulder. Two swords stand planted behind him, left where they were.
★ Upright
The Seven of Swords is strategy in its gray zone — stealth, workarounds, the solo maneuver nobody signed off on. Upright, it can credit clever independence and knowing when discretion beats confrontation; it can equally flag deception in the area, yours or someone else's. Notice he could not carry all the swords: schemes always leave a pair behind.
♺ Reversed
Reversed, the sneak comes to light: a secret exposed, a con collapsing, or a conscience turning itself in. It is the card of the cleaner path — return what was taken, say the true thing, and discover that honesty was the more efficient strategy all along.
