The Hanged Man

The Hanged Man is the pause that changes everything. Upright, it asks for voluntary surrender — releasing a timeline, an outcome, or a fixed opinion long enough to see the situation from the other side up. Progress right now looks like waiting. What feels like being stuck is actually the view being rearranged.
♺ Reversed
Reversed, the suspension has become plain stalling: sacrifices that no longer serve anyone, martyrdom performed for an audience, or delay disguised as patience. The perspective shift already happened — the card asks why you are still hanging there when your ankle is free.
